RainShadow Labs Upgrades All Lotion Formulations

As the Personal Care Products Industry continues to go through significant re-organization regarding standards, claims, and definitions, particularly around natural and organic products, we are working very hard to stay abreast of the latest developments. The industry is changing very quickly right now and we are working hard to keep up with these changes while making the process as painless as possible for our customers. It is with this in mind that our lotion bases have received a face lift.

Many of these formulations no longer contain Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Urea or Tetrasodium EDTA. This applies to custom as well as stock formulations. For those of you who find yourself with outdated ingredient decks, there is no need to panic or rush to your labeling vendor for an updated version. We continue to refine our menu of raw ingredients and recipe books and bases and standard formulations in order to better serve you as your Custom Formulation House of choice.

Please be aware that these new lotion bases meet the Premium Standards Whole Foods Preferred Personal Care Products List. It is our intention to uphold this standard internally and pass this standard on to all of our customers.

Due to the reformulations and the increased cost of raw ingredients and shipping, our cost will be increased. We know that you are all experiencing the pressure of increased pricing everywhere, and thus we have held back for as long as possible from passing on the increased cost of goods to you. We now find ourselves unable to hold back the increased pricing market from our customer base. Please make a note of the change in cost.
