RainShadow Labs Upgrades on all Aloe based Formulations

As the Personal Care Products Industry continues to go through significant re-organization regarding standards, claims, and definitions, particularly around natural and organic products, we are working very hard to stay abreast of the latest developments. It is with this in mind that our organic aloe bases have received a face lift.

All formulations that are made with our organic aloe are now free of Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Urea and Tetrasodium EDTA. This applies to custom as well as stock formulations. All of the ingredient decks have been updated on our website http://www.rainshadowlabs.com/Ingredients_Deck.html. They will say **updated May 2008 at the end.

For those of you who find yourself with outdated ingredient decks, there is no need to panic or rush to your labeling vendor for an updated version. The FDA clearly states that from the time that a formulation is changed and you are notified of this change, you have a two year window in which to update your ingredient list. So simply use up your current labels, and when the time comes to reorder, which must happen at some point, make the changes then.

We continue to refine our menu of raw ingredients and recipe books and bases and standard formulations in order to better serve you as your Custom Formulation House of choice.

Please be aware that this new aloe base meets the Premium Standards Whole Foods Preferred Personal Care Products List. It is our intention to uphold this standard internally and pass this standard on to all of our customers.
